We were supposed to drive to Conklin this morning. I'm glad the job was put off.

300 injuries out of 60 cars.....I think the math is off, or there are more cars than you think.

300 people injured. They have a bus out there (hwy2) for triage and 4 folks sent to hospital so far. Wow!

Maybe they're counting multiple injuries on two people? Or perhaps there were two buses involved; we all know that there shouldn't be more than one person in a vehicle unless there's a family holiday involved

Just got the email from one of our safety dept peeps; they too noted the 300 injured statistic.

So we can agree that many cars have caused injury and many road closures?

Oh, what the heck, I'll keep in good AO tradition and call everyone azzhats and derail the thread further by saying "Women shouldn't be allowed to drive on highways with drunk truck drivers!",, they must have been drunk right?

OP should edit the title of the thread. Makes AO look like over-blown drama queens.

How does your wife feel about you using her ribcage as a computer desk?

I'm amazed accidents like that don't happen way more often considering the way many people drive.

The accident was mainly due to a very quick turn from heavy snow to complete white out. I was driving near there at the time and visibility went from 40 feet to literally half way down the hood of my truck in about 15 seconds

Driving in Edmonton was an absolute treat today.

Going to lunch down 75th at 30km/hr only to find out the brakes are useless.

In 20 years - I have to say It's never been this slick. Perfect combination of snow/ice/temperate.

Absolutely amazed to see semi's on Whitemud wedged up against the median (up the hill from the river) westbound at around 3:00 PM.

I sent all the staff home early ...... no use making 5:00 PM any worse that it needs to be.

Unblvbl.
