Default Trihull

What can you guys tell me about a tri hull boat for fishing, I heard they are very unstable and choppy. Never been in one but am hearing conflicting stories of them. Any info would be appreciated.

Thank you

They are more stable in calm water (won't tip from side to side as much) but
they are rougher in choppy water. Personally I like them for fishing, being more stable when not moving means its easier to stand up without the boat rocking so much.
