Default Buck Lake Drayton Valley

Ventured down to Buck Lake yesterday and to say the algae was bad would be a gross misunderstatement. It is worse than anything I have ever seen before. Your boat wake was a shiny green just like a morning dew on a lush green lawn. Smell was also quite pungent.

Unfortunately I cannot upload any photos for some reason but take my word for it, it was disgusting.

Must have really increased in the last 3 weeks. There was algae but not a sea of green or smell 3 weeks ago. I don’t fish it too often because I am not big on walleye

Thanks for the heads up it will give me an excuse to tell the wide we are going elsewhere when she wants to go for walleye lol
