Default 444 Marlin

I was wondering if you can shoot a bullet called Evolution through a tubular barrel, I have borrowed the gun and i don't know much about them.
Any info would be great. It's the centennial gun lever action.

The Evolution is a soft plyable spire point that was designed by hornady for tubular magazines and is safe. The tip actually returns to its original shape.
I don't even know if they make them in 444 but the 160s work in the 30-30
better BC and FPS.

I'm assuming you meant tubular magazine. I don't know if Hornady makes factory loads in 444 but I've shot a 30-30 with the "Lever Evolution" and they seem to do the trick. They are not the be all and end all for lever actions but they're pretty effective. They seem to extend the range of the
30-30 by 75-100 yards. If you're worried about the pointed soft plastic tip on the ammo, don't be. I haven't heard of any cases of accidental reaction misfires from the pointed tip in the tubes.

I own and shoot a .444 and have used the LeverEvolution ammo and works just fine. Very accurate too!
