406 Moose Archery dates

I havent got a draw book or regs to look at yet. Can anyone tell me the dates for the season - need to get some time booked off of worrk. Many thanks!

general archery dates are sept 8-23....

I assumed that if he was missing his draw book, he was planning on putting in for the draw. So sorry for the "wrong" answer

I am honestly glad that someone on the board takes the time to acknowledge and help a guy when he needs information.
I am not surprised that Rack or one of the other senior members always has something negative or their own 2 cents to add to the topic.
Sammy was right to assume he was looking for draws as the question was exactly that.

Except that he titled it 406 Moose Archery Dates. It was a simple question, and there is the difference between the 406 Archery moose season and the 406 Antlered Moose Special License season. The first answer was not the archery season dates. It was for the Special License dates. Its simple interpretation of legislation and using the correct terms is all.

Of course members have their own 2 cents to add, thats why they make it easy to reply. I'm glad you added your '2 cents' to the thread as well. Take a browse through my posts if you think that I dont help guys out. I merely posted that I'm surprised that so much WRONG information is posted, and this is a generalization of the ENTIRE board and all the legal questions that get asked and answered.

My thanks for the answers - I should have been more clear in my question. I was actually looking for the general dates as I doubt I will get drawn at a 6 this year - but who knows?

Anyhow, no matter who looks at the posting now, they will know the dates for either. Thanks all and good luck in the upcoming season!!

If you apply as a 6 you have a chance of being drawn. Last year it looks like 33% of 6's were drawn.

That number is slowly rising and climbing but you'll get it this year or next is my guess! Good luck!

Sure hope so - lengthens the season - still wanna get one with the bow though!
