Default Ice Shack

I was wondering if anyone knew where to get some plans for an ice shack. I think i'd like to build one for next season and would like to get some ideas. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

WSS used to sell plans & a tarp kit that was put together by someone down south around the Drumheller area. I bought one about 8 years ago. It came with detailed plans & a pre-cut heavy duty tarp & cost $125.00. The materials cost about $250.00 & my buddy put it together over a couple of days. Best ice fishing shack I've ever owned, but heavy & not as portable as some may like. When it's folded down it is 8'x4' by about 20-24 inches high. To set it up you drag it out of box of truck. It folds open & then there are braces that stand up inside - to form tarp into a barn shape. Very roomy & comfortable - I've stayed in it overnight several times. It has a solid wood floor with 6 trap doors for six 10" holes. It is a six man, but comfortably fits 4 with enough room to move around. Sleeps two comfortable one on each bench (benches are 24" by 8' long on each side). I would like to post pics, but have none on my work computer. Haven't used in a couple of years, because of work - hoping to get out in March this year. Takes about 45 minutes to get setup with holes drilled & ready to fish with two guys. One thing I don't like is that you pretty much need a truck on the ice to use it, because of its size & weight (weighs around 150-250 lbs). I also have an Eastman Outfitters Ice Cube for portable sled or quad trips & it works well.

I made mine around the end of December, used it 5 times now and love it. There's a few things I'd change, but overall very very happy with it.

Set up a tarp and pads on the floor and my wife naps most of the day fishing her hole while I have all the room in the world in mine.

Here's a thread I put up for my experiance.

I was inspired by TheFisherman guy

His is smaller, but has a wood stove which is really sweet.
