Lots of companies have released them. Not sure how soon they'll be in the shops.

Cutting Edge Hunting Supply in Chauvin is having the grand opening on the 2nd and 3rd of Dec from 11 am -6 pm both days. The New APA lineup will be present as well as at least 4 APA Prostaff will be onsite to help answer questions and give tuning advice and basic form help. Come on down and try them out also we are giving away a brand new APA bow that weekend

first time ever i'm considering a hoyt, have itch to try a lightweight bow and the new element rkt will likely be my tester, sounds like they are as strong or stronger than destroyer 350's by those who've chronied them/owned both etc. on archerytalk....i too am fed up with inflated speed ratings of pretty much everyone but hoyt...might as well take 10 fps of every single bow manufacturers speed to get closer comparisons....or add 10 fps to hoyt....what did one guy say about all the other companies engineers as 'imagineers' lol....so true

my 2011 mathews mr7 has been ultra accurate and such a sweet shooter for me (balance and dead in hand shooting) it will be interesting to see if the almost 1 lb lighter hoyt can give me similar accuracy results to 80 yrds as i get with the mr7....mr7 most accurate bow i've had to date but i've never shot a 3d or target stuff, just my own targets up to 100 yrds and longest ata bow i've shot has been 34 and change and shortest 31 and change

Default Bows

Mathews, has put out a light weight bow for 2012, called the Heli-M
shot one in Montana on days off, nice light bow, but a bit of hand buzz, looks just like a z7.
Also shot the Element RKT , very light, extremely quiet, smooth to shoot.
Awsome bow, but fairly expensive at over $1100

PSE also has an interesting bow out called the Revenge, would have liked to shoot, one, but none in stock.

bet the element rkt has solid 10 fps over that heli-m, even though the mathews says it can do up to 332....yeah right

was pretty set on trying a vendetta xl with axe cam conversion but now not so much for some reason, just shooting the mr7 so well and such a nice shooter....going to go for the element rkt, it sounds like its what i'll be happy with, will see if it can shoot with my mr7

Default Bow

I have shot them all, but fail to see a $400 diff. from my Invasion to the Element RKT. and I didnt Chrono, but think the Invasion is faster.

i love that you are a gear junky, especially on bows it seems, i remember talking to you a year or two ago about bows and appears to be a pattern...you shoot them all every year don't you?

agree with you on lots of strong bows out there that run with each other, the main reason for me to try the element was for weight, yes the heli-m is light and so are hca bows but something about the riser flex being near 1/4" when pressed got me going on the likely more rigid carbon riser, not to mention its the first hoyt i thought had the balls i would like....not saying there is anything to the riser flex but just one more factor that influenced me on the super lightweight choice to try out the hoyt this time....i sure as heck aint selling my mr7 until i know if i like lighter or heavier, the invasion would be my pick from bowtech hands down, shot the specialist, very accurate bow, buddy did well with it this year, p&y muley at 74, cow moose at 72, very short recoveries
