Default ice fishing in southern alberta

looking to do some ice fishing on xmas break . does anybody know what the ice is like at beavermines , beauvais, serburne or rattle snake. and most important hows the fishing. thanks for the help.

The lakes around Taber are starting to open up because of the wind. It has'nt frooze much in the last week. The lakes will be dangerous.

went to yellow lake monday and caught a 6lb pike and a smaller one. they were biting on and off but could of landed more. we were on the south end and lots of open water but still found good ice 4" to walk on. You could open water fish or ice fish...Your choice lol

Thumbs up will have to be careful

thanks for the help. I think i will try the mountain lakes,hopefully it will start to get colder at nights and we can try the praries lakes.
