Smile What would this whitetail score?

-gross?
-he's a 5x4
-missing a browtine on the right side.
has a sticker that splits into two points about 2-3 inches a piece at the base on the right antler
-i would say his G3 is about 10 inches

what do you guys think.

I'd shoot em. I'm no scoring expert but he's a nice buck and I would probably shoot him. His left side is awesome.

He looks like a 6x4, from what I can see I think he'd gross around 164, too bad his right antler didn't match up with his left. He would have grossed over book.

I thought the main beam point doesn't count for scoring as a point?

It counts as a point but doesn't score as "G" measurement. The main beam is considered as a point when classifying the deer but measured from the base of the beam to the tip when scoring.

Its a personal preference thing. It has been argued on AO many times. Those from sk and ab count all points (brows and MB) when describing a Whitetail buck. Mulie bucks you omit the brow when describing as they are often miniscule or non existent. It is no different then how americans and easterners add all points together to describe them. I believe someone did a poll here on AO and it was a large majority that count them all on whiteys and omit the brows on mulies. There are a few old school guys who get in a huff about it because their daddy taught them different.

If your talking about Boone and Crocket scoring then it's called a point but not scored as one. Here's the link.

He is in the gross 165 range. I would say higher than lower. Lots of deductions on him. Likely a high 130 net.

im thinking low 150s gross....speckle is probably closest on net. the left side is a good start, but there just isnt anything on the right at all.

is he one of the city deer down in strathcona? if he is, good luck finding sheds.....i dont know where they drop em, but i havent ever found any. must be all the dog walkers and joggers getting them.

Looks pretty well identical to a buck we saw on the last day of the season.....sans the sticker. I'd be surprised if he is in the 150s.

Oh wow, big difference staring at the iPhone screen and computer screen.

Max 145, net high 120's.

He needs one more year.

He gets gets big screen shrinkage? I was a bit suspect of the lack of mass. Maybe I'll try him on the computer.

I was gonna post earlier shortly after the post started, but everyone was guessing so high that I figured that it would just cause a pi**ing match but now I see the guesses are more realistic.
