Default parasite update

i took the rainbow trout that had these little black spots under their skin to the fish and wildlife office. they got back to me quite promptly with the info. they were infected with tryonoffres (sp?), an infection normally found in whitefish. they are not harmfull to humans and are ok to eat. the fillet looked like it had been lightly sprinkled with pepper. i would propably take an extra layer of flesh off the fillet before i cooked it in the future. fw was quite helpfull even though at first they thought i was bringing them lunch.

That's helpful information, i sometimes see that in perch, but just add more cracked pepper and keep eating!
