Default S&W rifle

Hey guys can anyone out there give me am approximate value of a Smith & Wesson rifle ( 30-06 ). It is in good to excellent shape. Any pros and cons on this piece.

Howa based action, same as the weatherby vanguard. Is it a 1500 or 1700? There was also a recall on the bolts awhile back. Legacy sports in the US was handling all of the repairs.

Not all S&W or Mossberg rifles are Howa-made. Check the rifle closely to see where it was made; Japan = Howa if it is a S&W or Mossberg. Your rifle may be worth $200-450 depending upon condition, make and buyer...
