Cool

check you private messages. folks can be a little guarded giving info to a member with 10 posts. most baits will work at the trout pond. it can change daily one day flies kill, next day power bait rules the roost.

After seeing your last post on the dickson pond, I would be pretty surprised if anybody here would be willing to help you out

Post Bait

I used spinners with the fly thingy on the end but not the roster tail and on spoons Len Thomson red devil. Really just use anything with orange or green with small to medium spoons and spinners. That is what I used. Other people were using power bait and worms . If u have a boat bring it because those fish are just out of reach fifty percent of the time ant the medium and large fish at. Hope this helps and makes sense. Oh one last thing is anyone heading out on the weekend? If u do I will be the one in the blue pontoon boat._____________________________________________ ___________________ Living the dream! Fish on!

You live in Calgary.....Why drive to Dickson when there's a pretty good creek running right through your backyard?

Is Dickson the one that is West of Innisfail? When I google it, it brings up Gleniffer Lake?

Yes, the lake is Glennifer but the dam is Dickson Dam named after the hamlet Dickson I think.

Dickson Trout Pond is a small section of Glennifer Lake that has been dammed off to separate it from Glennifer.

Thanks for encouraging over fishing. I don't post lots but tell everyone where to fish. I know its a stocked pond but do some work yourself. If you have questions use your PM.
