Default Fishing Sylvan Lake

Hey guys; finally got the boat in the water and my 11 year old wants to go fishing; we have a cabin at Sylvan, but i dont know the lake at all from a fishing perspective. Any help on how/where to go, and what to use would be greatlly appreciated (by my son!) We will troll for pike, but would like to catch perch also. Thanks in advance!

Just jig for walleye. Pike are hard to catch out of there unless you know how to fish for them. Get on a shoal in about 10-16 feet of wate and through a jig head tipped with a minnow. You will get them about every 30 seconds not even.
