fishin from shore at spray lakes ...
Hello , I plan on going to spray lakes for the evening ! I don't have a boat so I will be fishing from shore ..I know people have luck , last time I got skunked ! Any tips would be helpful  thank you !

Any luck? Did ok there in my pontoon boat, lots of smaller lakers! Marked fish in 20 feet of water close to shore, by where the creek runs in on the south side. There was fish at all depths, and a guy was catching them on lures(small red devils), we were using white tube jigs. Your best bet from shore would probably be bait fishing on bottom with smelts/minnows, or try casting some heavy white sparkly single tailed jigs .5-1 ounce heads so you can get them out there! Mmm got skunked ! It was so hot out there , my girlfriend and I didn't catch a thing ... Some guy told us there in the shade when its that hott , older couples told us its cuz I was drinking a beer lol ! Nope no luck , I don't understand why I have suck trouble with trout. Haha.

Well on the bright side you were out fishing, drinking beer while it was hot out. Not a bad trip if you ask me! A fish would have made it a perfect trip!

That's exactly what my friend and I said , ice cold beer , some sun , and attempt to catch a fish ! Haha need to practice
