Default Cross or Steele Lake

Has anyone been up to Cross lake for perch so far this year?

Thats funny Ive fished it for over 25 years not starting anything. Was just curious what the ice was like. And there were some very nice fish in it this last summer and fall so im pretty sure they are still around.

Just sayin that lake was owned last winter hundreds of people the worst ive seen ever out there and i been fishin it for about fifteen never usualy anyone but last year idk i myself had a real hard time even finding a spot that wasnt completely covered in people but it is an awesome lake i must say

I believe it, I didnt make it there last year but was there a few times this fall and summer there were quite a few boats but did manage to get some nice perch & pike. And I agree its unfortunate when a lake gets slammed that hard.

Soon no more perch to be found anywhere within 2 hrs. of most cities. If you do they are the jumbo type running a good 4 to 6 inches.

4 - 6 inches are not jumbos.
4 - 6 are either young or stunted.
