Default Advertising your catches location

i wanted to ask the general group what they think...

which one would you do?

after catching a big fish

A. release the fish, then post a picture on the forum with details of what lake and where it was caught, what bait was used, gps co-ordinates of the spot, etc.

B. release the fish, then post a picture blurring out the background and lie about the location

C. same as A but keep the fish

D. same as B but keep the fish

You're poll has 3 release and 1 keep option but your choices have 2 of each.

It's a push poll. Ya gotta release the fish or keep it and tell everyone where ya caught it.

I would take a pic and post it here.
If it was a good eater and legal to keep...I'd keep it.
If it was a not very well known place = no info about lake X.

It might be better as 2 polls.

1) If you caught a big fish would you keep it? or not?

2) If you caught a big fish would you advertise the location? or not?

Over the years I've been fortunate enough to catch and release a number of monster fish including; Lake Trout, Grayling, Walleye, Sauger, Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Freshwater Drum, Channel Cat, Perch, Sockeye & Pink Salmon, Dolly Varden, and Sailfish. Have NO desire to put a knife in a big fish, rather see them live for another day. My camera has the GPS option, but really, who cares that I caught and released the fish in the dug out on Uncle Joe's back 40 by the crooked tree that got hit by Lightning, next to the stone pile!

Jus sayin

Zip ...

1) Nope dont keep big fish 2) I would only advertise the location if it was a well known lake........then i would avoid that lake for the next month!!!!!!!

I answered A. Doesnot bother me one bit if people know where I caught the fish or what I was using.

Keep maybe two feeds of walleye a year in Alberta so I am 99.5% C+R anyways.
