Default Where can I purchase Marine Grade Vinyl in or near Edmonton?

As the title states,

1) Where can I find where to purchase marine grade vinyl?
2) Who can emboss the vinyl? Can this be done while it is installed on the seats or should I have it done before I install them on the seats?

I am looking at upgrading the seats in my boat and custom building and covering them.

This will be an off season project, so right now I am just gathering ideas, and deciding which way I want to go.

Thanks in advance.

Barry Jay's in Edmonton has marine grade carpet. I'd try them on the vinyl. 780 428 2628

if you have no luck with them, you may want to try defender.com. They have everything marine and ship worldwide. Their prices are competitive as I have been able to find online for anything marine.

Fabric land has a real good selection, if you buy a membership card for about $30 bucks the vinyl is half off as well.

Thank you for all the links and advice!!

I am going to check out Fabricland today and foam king (seat coushin and backing) for some ideas to start. I have an idea as to what I want to build.

Agb Crash, Thanks for letting me know you sell and repair sewing machines.. What would you reccomend for a machine that would sew 2.5 -3.0 oz leather? This is another project I will be taking on.. I am not looking at spending a ton of cash and do not need the top of the line machine.

Right on! Thank you!

I may give you a shout shortly. I have a friend that does a fair amount of sewing and her machine may work for this. If not she thinks she might be able to get me access to an industrial sewing machine. I'll see how the cards play on this one.

On a side note I did find the exact colors in marine grade vinyl I was looking for at fabric land. I'm going with amber red and snow white. The red will match the exterior color of the boat and the white will contradict it. The outline of the seats will be white and the inlets will be red.

Now I just need to find 2 seat frames so I can star building this stuff.
