Default BIG PIKE yesterday(pics)

So me, Kyle and Flyfisher120 decided to head up to central Alberta this weekend to see if we could get our hands on some BIG PIKE and well at least one of us did and maybe the odd burbot. We managed to get 9 fish all pike not the best day thats for sure but not the worst either, 3 were keepers the rest were under the limit but we only kept one of the keepers cause the other ones were just too big to keep. I managed to hook both big ones, one was 35 1/2 inches and the other was 33inches, and i just bought some new tip-ups and i christened them both with big fish so that was a bonus.Plus i also got my first pike on my trout ice fishing rod:\ (need to get myself some big game ice rods for sure), wow what a battle and a half and it wasnt even legal size, sure glade it wasnt one of the big guys

35 1/2 incher

33incher
