Take your time 6.5
I backed my bow down a turn to start and may take it down another yet.
I shoot peak at 65lbs warmed up.
Once it becomes too easy (I'll know) then I'll start to turn it back up.
Should only take a week or two but you need to shoot at least 3 arrows
2 to 3 times each day. (working back muscles here not bulls or groups).
15 yard shots.
Just try to make the draw cycle soft and smooth to get a solid anchor
every time.
Your focus will settle on the target and all the fight has gone out of
the draw. You may shift from target to release at this point and get
some weird shots due to trigger punch but don't worry.
You are no longer giving any thought to fighting the draw.
Time to add a 1/2 turn on limb bolts.
Steps to work back up to peak dw.
Once there, now you need to check the bows tuning for how it is and
how you shoot it now.
When your back up to the peak weight you want the bow to draw.
You should shoot it at that weight before tuning until it again
"feels too easy to draw".
You get the idea.
