Many thanks to all from the Remick Family. It was a great success, and fun too.
A very nice young family here needs some help, Jaxson is on an airplane heading for emergency surgery in Toronto. Jessica also has a 3 1.2 year old, and lives with friends of ours in town.
Emergency services has covered airfare for Her and the baby, but they have to cover hotels, food, and airfare for the 3 1/2 year old.
You all know I hate to ask, but if anyone can help this is a deserving family that requires some assistance. They do not make a lot of money, but they are truly nice people.
They think the tumor may be cancerous, imagine hearing that about your baby. I do not know if I could cope with that, thinking of my tiny grandson in that situation puts that all too familiar lump in my throat instantly.
I have asked my friend for some pictures of the family, will put them up as soon as possible.
If you can help, please say so on the thread, and PM me for contact information for them.
Donation drop off's have been started at the ATB in Paradise Valley 780-745-2626 and at Paradise Valley Farm Supply 780-745-2000.
My family has donated to the cause, and I donated the money from some landscape work I did to them as well.
I will be selling some fishing gear and assorted items to help raise some funds too. If you wish to donate in that way, PM me please and I will add them to the thread.

From Recce43,
http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showthread.php?t=218807
$50.00 minimum please, we can auction until 8:00 tonite or if you say $100 it is yours.
Make your offer, anything over $50 gets it. Let's do this though, let's not make the person giving stuff away have to pay for shipping. Let's try and AO Pony express stuff or have the buyer pay for shipping.
If you have other idea's please PM to me, let's not plug up the thread with anything other than cash donations and donation items.
Thanks Recce43, very kind and thoughtful of you.

Call Sharon at ATB, likely easier and a lot cheaper to direct deposit into the account setup over driving that far. Is there an ATB in Kitscoty? 44 miles less driving. Thanks buddy!

I would like to say I will take EMT's as my bank is now set up for that, but as one forum member pointed out one time 'there is no one that audits the donations', also insinuated that I 'may be taking a 'cut' for doing these', so I will not accept any form of payment in or to my name. No I will never forget that, I still see red thinking about it.
Give me a call, you have my number and we can set something up.
Thanks Randy, I appreciate it buddy.

A very nice man by the name of CCCAN gave me a nice fly fishing setup one time. I think it would be a good thing to donate from both of us.
Mitchell prestige 2pc 8' #6-#7 fly rod with case, Martin Classic mc78 reel + floating line, Browning Midas #5-#6 reel with Cortland 444SL sinking tip.
This entire package should be worth $100 easy, lets start at $50 and go to 8:00 tonight.

I just bought this from the Reel Doctor, so needless to say I paid way too much
Brand new never used Quantum Optix op60 spinning reel.
Let's start at $50, and go to 8:00 tonight. It's for a good cause, I am going to keep looking if some stuff starts going. Like everything else, I can bring to Edmonton tomorrow or Sunday, or you can meet me in Leduc.

From Colin455, "I have a Mossberg 342KB .22 bolt action rifle for sale that I don't need. I have purchased a new front site and magazine from Nurmrich. It's a nice shooter and has had a stock repair at some point. Doesn't affect function and seems very solid.
Looking for $150. Must have PAL."
$150 sounds good to me, let's start it there and run until Noon Saturday.
Colin will pay shipping as well, if the buyer allows that.

very sad update
my wife just heard, the poor little guy is going to lose his eye. There was too much damage to save it.
There are going to be several trips necessary in the near future, this is going to be an ongoing thing.
It sure is easier typing than talking.
