Default Ice off of Carson lake yet?

Just wondering if anyone has been up there yet? Have the spring fever and want to get out!!!

Default Boats on the lake

Does anyone know if the boat docks are good to go or has anyone had there boat on the lake at Carson

I'm going to head out fishing next week so I'll report back on the dock situation. Any advise for targeting trout in the early season? I don't fish trout much but I have the itch to get out and wet some lines. When I do fish trout I'm normally Trolling with small rapalas or worm harness spinner rigs. I'm guessing shallow may be a better place to start?

I can't tell but in the pic it kinda looks like a thin layer of ice. The ice is gone right?
