Congratulations it looks like you had some great weather on your trip!!
We own of the PMQ's up there and are heading up in another week for the month so your pics have really got me stoked. It's all I can do to not load the truck today !!!!!!
I'm glad you did well on chinook and I hear from the lady that helps rent out our place that the coho are starting to show themselves as well . Did you get a chance to try any of the razor clams while you were out on the beach picking up crabs ??? They are even better than crab or halibut when fried in a panko bread crumbs and dipped in seafood sauce
It's kinda crazy how much stuff you can gather to eat out there eh?

we even went out to Charters and I had Prawns ..mmmm good

we trapped some Dungeness crab with Joe (Danny Escotts guide) and everyone got to have crab for a appetizer

did not pick clams on the beach but were only there for just over a couple hours .. not sure if its open yet didn't even check .. but people were digging

Looks like you had lots of fun. I'm off to Hardy in just over a month!!!

Clams... Ya, I want to do that but I thought everywhere was closed due to contamination? Can I do any of it on Vancouver Island?

You will not fish with a better outfit than Escott. Danny and his crew run a first class operation. This is my second year in a row not going but Ive been out with them 6 or 7 times. Great people, great fishing. If only I didn't buy that damn house!!
