Default BC Regs question

In BC when the regs say "Canadian residents only on Saturday and sunday", does that mean we as Canadian residents can only fish Saturday and sunday or does it mean that only Canadian residents can fish on those days and no one from outside of Canada can fish.

Don't know where you read that, looked over the regs and could find nothing as you mentioned. Can you post a link?

I've never read that. Can you copy paste the text from the regs or say what it is in reference too. Is that for the classified streams? You have to give some context if you want a good answer. Just those few words isn't easy to figure out. Context is everything.

Look at bodies of water in the Skeena watershed Bulkley river etc.

From the regs.
canadian residents only on saturdays and sundays, sept 1 - Oct 31
canadian residents only on the Telkwa river sept 1 - Oct 31 (see Telkwa river)

Means canadian residents are the only ones allowed to fish those days. We can also fish any other day as well.

Coming from that area it was disheartening to spend all week working looking forward to unwinding waist deep in the river chasing steelhead only to have to compete with the bazillion illegally guided Europeans who stood ontop of the fish, never moved through the hole, had no concept of river etiquette and hardly spent a dime locally.

The American tourists were good, most i had met spent a week or more in the area and hardly caught a thing.
