Default Iosogun

Heading to Fox Creek next week for work, should I take the boat?

I have not fished Smoke or Iosogun in several years,

If you don't take the boat, you wont catch any fish. Seems like a simple choice no matter how well they are biting.

Have not been for several years. Was once a great place to fish except for the thieves at the campground.

Watch the lake for deadheads - lots out there just below the surface.

It's a great lake for numbers - lot's of small walleye in there.

I was there last week and filled all of my c class tags and so did my buddy. We were trolling crome and Gold rattling crankbaits at 3km/hr and were getting a fish every 2-5min and some pike. Make sure the baits are bumping bottom. Most of the walleye were bigger than 43cm, my biggest was 18".
