Spent a day hunting this zone and saw probably 40 mule deer. There were some real monsters. Obviously the rut is in full swing. Permission in this zone is relatively easy to obtain. Just comply with landowners wishes. Good zone to hunt. For you pheasant hunters we saw lots of birds.
