rolling hills reservoir

Anyone tried out rolling hills this year? Heading out there tomorrow and was just curious about ice conditions. Thanks guys!

Have not fished it yet this year but this is one lake you need to be careful on, gas pockets everywhere. I have heard newell is 10in plus so it should be roughly the same. It's the one lake I would never drive on although tons of people drive on it.

Gas pockets? Can you elaborate plz? I can't find anything on it online.

Place where the ice is thin due to gas bubbles bubbling up all the time, some years are worse than others.
