Default Loch Leven SK

Anyone know anything about this lake? Meeting some family at Cypress Park on the SK side this weekend. Wondering if it's worthwhile to buy a licence and take my fishing gear??? Done some googling but can't seem to find any info that’s not 6 years old.
Cheers.

Hi there, it has three different types of trout(rainbow, brookie, cuttrout) I used to use a pickerel rig with size 6 hooks and a weight on the bottom of the rig and use velveta cheese or worms, but I would imagine orange power bait would work too. It can get weedy in places, I fished in front of the pool or on the ne side of the lake. Use a bell on the rod that way you don't have to watch the rod all the time. We also used to rent a canoe and troll.

cheers
