Thumbs up Pine Coulee (PCR) Can you launch a boat with current water levels?

Hey folks, just curious about the water level and if it is still possible to launch a boat from the boat launch? We are having to sell our boat, so the wife and I are heading out for one last trip tomorrow afternoon. Just wondering if it would be worth while, or a waste of our time to even try. Boat is a 16 foot aluminum. Thanks in advance!

Don't know about PCR but Chain lake is back up to its normal level and both launches were useable 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for the info, not really sure about what depths and percentages are doable or not. More concerned with if I can launch a boat without getting stuck in the mud below the boat launch. Would hate to waste an entire evening due to making a bad call, but would love to get the wife on some guaranteed eyes and enjoy the boat one last time. I'd go to chain but I dont really have a setup on hand that would work for the smaller trout.

We were there on Saturday and there were lots of people launching boats. There were even some ski boats on the water.

No issues launching the boat......the water is a ways below the concrete launch but there are no worries about getting stuck....4 or 5 other boats on the water....wicked day for some fun on the water, had a blast with the wife and got her on some eyes! Sure gonna miss the boat.....

i was there two weeks ago the water was pretty low, the launch has a mud on one side make sure you don't step or drive over it or you will get stuck deep, i stepped and got stuck up to my ankles and almost lost my shoes. looked like iwas wearing black socks on the walk back from parking lol

I stopped at Pine coulee on my way back from Lethbridge yesterday for some quick fishing. I was very surprised to see the water level 10-12 feet below the water line. With all the rain we had and most other reservoirs being full I was wondering if anyone knew a reason as to why its so low?

By the way fishing is still productive 13 in an hour.

Lack of rain and runoff in the spring, which lead to heavy usage for irrigation.
