Default Crossbow & ATV Permits

For all of those that are permitted for Cross bow or ATV use during the hunting season !
Did You Know ??? you now do not need to apply every three years for Crossbow or yearly for ATV ?
Now they are lifetime permits issued every five years through the Alberta Relm License system !
Took my yearly Application in last week and received the new license a day later for both .

Forgive me for not known the regs for a crossbow, please advise what it takes to get the permit to use, great the process is easier.

I don't know all the criteria but basically you need (from a Dr.) evidence of a permanent injury/disability which does not allow you to draw a bow and hold it at full draw. Don't know criteria for an ATV.

That's essentially it.

Go here: https://mywildalberta.ca/buy-licence...abilities.aspx

Have your Sawbones read over the criteria, and sign off on the medical form.

https://mywildalberta.ca/buy-licence...on-Mar2018.pdf

Fill out and submit the application form accompanied by the medical form.

https://mywildalberta.ca/buy-licence...on-Mar2018.pdf

OHV & Weapons Discharge Permit information is also on that first link.

Cheers,
Nog
