Heading out to Pigeon Lake in a week or so...how has the fishing been? From Calgary, but we head out there for our annual fishing and veg week.....if anyone has any reports or what's working this year? thanks
Was at Pigeon last Friday and couldn't keep them off. I took my five year old nephew for his first fishing trip and he had a blast catching those 'eyes. We just anchored off the provinical park and dropped a jig head down tipped with a minnow. You should have no trouble getting into a few fish using this approach
I was out last night, caught around 100 fish by the provincial park in 3hrs. Use a minnow on a jig head about 2-5 inches off the bottom and wallah! I did manage 2 pike one around the 5 pound range and other 3.
