caught my biggset rainbow in the Bow, on the fly, had it on for about 3 jumps then it was gone. at least 5 pounds, took my heart a while to stop pounding. Ive seen some really big browns too, in the stretch between Bowness and Downtown. There are some huge ones that lie along the shore at Edworthy Park, you should check it out some weekday when the crowds arent around.

Hey baitfisher, I did that samre trip in a driftboat down to the carseland weir. Had a freeking blast that day, landing rainbow and browns. I envy anyone that has access to the Bow river as it is one of the best places to fish for larger Rainbow in Alberta. Congrats and Im glad to see you got out.
