Default Backcountry Brookies

I just moved from Alberta back to Nova Scotia and although we don't have have pike, burbot or walleye we do have an abundance of beautiful brook trout!

I picked up a few good tips on this site and still enjoy a lot of the content after moving, so I just wanted to share a fishing adventure from the other side of the country.

Check it out and let me know what you think!

Those are alot bigger than the mud trout up in Nfld!

Funny part is that I have cleaned alot of brookies in Nfld, and they do not have the same pink - orange flesh that we get in Ab?

Could never understand that on the East Coast Brookies, but the fish do taste great!
