Do you wax your zipper

lady's not that zipper lol

i use lip gloss bee's wax

just sewed the velcro window too

take care of your tent all

I use candle wax (paraphin??) when first purchase, then I never have to touch it again.

My fishin buddy told me to use Champstick lip balm the one's they give away for free, like when you go to the dentist or trade show.

Easy to apply & it works slick in this cold weather.

That reminds me I'm due for my yearly zipper waxing. Just use candle wax. Only takes a few minutes and works well.

army days with what I believe were some sort of metal zippers we used candle wax but now with these plastic ones is there a requirement?

thanks i have candle wax too

sure makes for nice zipper movement in -20 or lower

Winter ex....-30 buddy gets up and out of the Arctic tent he went....fought with his zipper after relieving himself...tugged and yelped as he pinched a piece of skin....wax all zippers

Asked this question to the owner at Dunrite Sports who repaired a bunch of holes & pole holes that broke through bottom corners on my eskimo a few years back. She said avoid any wax, because of grime and dirt build up over time. She swore by using plain old liquid dish soap. Works like a charm!
