Default Eastman Tents

Just ordered new poles for the 4 man pop up tent. Eastman no longer sell the individual poles, they sell an assembly which includes 4 poles and a hub...for 15 bucks. So you change out a whole side at a time. Ordered 2 sets, should give me a few spare poles in the end.
Anyone looking for the same parts here is the info:

I ordered a set too and just got the assembly. The lady didn't say there would be an invoice attached though. If they are going to make a sub par product then I'm not paying it. It was for 10 bucks.

It's not the money, it's the principal and no, I'm not happy with my ice cube.

the guys at the fishing hole said eastman sent them a bunch of assemblies right at the beginning of last year before they had reports of broken ones. eastman obviously new it was not a great product. why else would they be made to be removed from the tent so easily. i guess they farmed these out to china to be made cheaply so we can "enjoy" them.

that's too bad, other than being way too short, they are real cool looking tents

The group I fish with every second weekend has a mixed bag of tents, mostly Frabill and Eastman. Although the 2 man Eastman is pretty tight for 2 guys, the 4 man is perfect for 3 guys and gear. I am average height (6') and it is more that tall enough for me while handling the wind very well. The Frabill 4 man that my cousin purchased broke on the second weekend of use.

Cheers.

Default ice cube..

i also have the 4-man ice cube and have not had any problems, actually love the "pop" open set-up...very quick, nice to know about replacement parts though...
