I was out last night, still safe where we alked out BUT it was the most ROTTEN ice I have been on.

The holes were almost square the ice was coming out in chunks and filling with water halfway down the 2 feet or so of ice.

3 wallys and a burbot for Skunkboy and I. The wallys looked healthy how old is the lake.

Super rotten ice! We didnt venture that far from the boat launch either - 40 feet out or so. . . Id say she's done though.
The fishing was still good. Once we got situated, we had nice haul of 'Eyes and Burbs and the Burbs bit till well past midnight. 8 burbs for myself but only 1 eye. Buddy caught a couple burbs and an eye too.
I wont be heading back until the gates are opened again.
Cheers - Ryan

Is the area under the bridge open enough to fish from shore?

Would anyone know?

Sort of, maybe 10-15' of open water either side, though I did not look too close.

Ya, I'd say Jeprli. Its supposed to be somewhere in the area of 20 degrees tomorrow too so you'll probably have more shore line / open water as the week drags on. That should also help to dry things up a bit too. It was fairly mucky on Sat.
