If your looking for outside the city some recently gained advice is grab a map and drive on the red line till it crosses a blue line, park and start fishing!

I was down to Bauer Ponds on Saturday, we caught a 15" pike in the pond and went down to check the water cond. in the river. Made a few casts with spinner bait and saw a fish go after the lure. Some more casts later we caught a 12" goldeye which was a surprise as the water was so dirty. There is a little trail to the water just past the playground, the fish was close to the bank where the water was a little slower.
