Default RCBS Chargemaster

I am thinking about buying the RCBS Chargemaster scale & powder dispenser.
All the reviews I have read rate it top quality.
Do any of you have experience with it?

Mine works fine, nary a problem.
I still have my powder dump and balance beam scale, the Chargemaster is only faster than the dump and trickle method if the charges are under 50gr.
I've checked and double checked it against my balance beam, and it is within 0.1 gr for accuracy, but occasionally the charge master will dump the very odd 0.3-0.4 of a grain higher.
There was a feller on CGN claiming cell phones and cordless phones made the display wonky, but I specifically tried 2 cordless phones and 2 cell phones around mine and saw no ill effects.
I think SA Lefty had his pile up and quite working, but he's the most un lucky feller on the planet, so I suppose he dont count.

I've had mine for about 8 months and it works great. If you are loading for that "one hole" target I believe the balance beam is the way to go. I think what dick is refering is the fact the powder reservior is integral and you have to "dump" everytime you change powders. The drain is a simple gravity system and kinda "mickey mouse" but it works. Would be nice if they could design one with interchangable reservoirs, like extra tumbler tubs.
Some really nice features are the programmable load memory, automatic round count and auto dispense after achieving zero.

Default RCBS Chargemaster

My buddy has one that we use for loading. It works awesome and is super easy to use. It does however have a few issues and it is currently in transit to RCBS to be replaced. Not sure what happened but for some reason it was having trouble accurately dispensing the powder. We called RCBS and they said to send it back and a new unit would be sent out within 2 days. Can't argue with service like that.

I have another friend who has a similar Lyman unit but I think I'd still go with the RCBS unit even if it was just for the service alone.

Just my 2-cents.

Thanks guys. Now that I know there is a few people with them with all good things to say about them, I will start shopping.

The following article claims it has the best warranty and is the most accurate.

That's what I mean.
The Chargemaster is awesome if some one is in the room jabbering at you, you hit dispense, yak till the beep, then charge the case.
Another thing I've found is after every time you turn it off it should be calibrated that amount of time is about the same as setting the powder thrower to just shy of the desired weight.
But if you doing 0-50gr. the Chargemaster will speed things up considerably.
