Default Monster Sask. archery Mule deer

This buck was e-mailed to me this week and was killed in Southern Sask. I guess he stalked up on it in the field twice and let it walk because he didnt have the right shot. Finally on the third atempt he got an arrow into him. I dont know if i could keep my composure on this one. Grosses 259 and change.

There are monster deer here too in AB. Luck is a big part of it. Just have to look and spend time in the outdoors and they can be found.

Congrats to the hunter on a great buck of a life time and with a bow WOW.

Alberta will never be on the map again with regards to big mule deer. Sask is the child, and once again, thats what a mule is supposed to look like.

Wow man ive never seen that many in my life, if i were you i would invest in a bow and get yourself one of them. Of course if you know where there is that many boone and crocket bucks you probably already shot a couple of them eh.

Nope I have no luck killing them for my self.Mine always miss book.My clients on the other hand have done way better when I was guiding.I know of 2 others that were wounded by people this year. One was probably pushing the world record.Gunslinger I also am not rich so I have very little time to get out and hunt them as most are 2+ hours from my house. Also the others are in the bow zone and have not seen them since just before the opener as I was sheep hunting.

x2,Ever watch a Bentley Coben Video?,every video they take Mule deer that net boone and crockett,typ\non-typ.

We use to hunt whitetail in the great sandhills, north of Tompkins, in southern saskatchewan and every day we saw Mule bucks that grossed over 190" ,Saskatchewan Residents are Lucky.

Eitherway incredible Muledeer that Buddy Got this year !!

Yup someone did post pics of this mulie buck a while back don't quote me but I think it was cabertoss or something like that and said is was from alberta may just there is two deer that look alike. The Alberta gov needs to change the way THEY manage our (hunters) animals.not sure how to make that happen .. Maybe have a few trophy zones for the trophy hunter and a couple zones for the meat hunters . Just a thought .... But of course a few more zones to hunt for the trophy hunters ...& just my opinion

a real trophy

Saskatchewan has had it's cull, and many fine specimens have disappeared, putting pressure on the remaining. Hopefully the gov won't prescribe to the Alberta methods of game management, and those fine animals will reappear in good numbers over the next 5-6 years.
