Default Best lake for whitey's?

I'm heading out with my pops on monday and am wondering what the best lake would be to hit for whites around Edmonton? Haven't been since the days where Wab was filled with them...

I'm thinking Pigeon or Gull might be the way to go but any suggestions are welcome.

Definitely want to fill the smoker soon!

The whites at pigeon you will find are huge but difficult to catch. Sylvan Lake is good as far as numbers but they're smaller compared to pigeon. It depends on what you're looking for. Haven't fished Gull, hoping to try this winter. I'm sure others will chime in or pm you.

Whitefish lake just 2 hrs north east is normal good .
Got my limit last time i went there.

Good spot is just 200 feet out from boat launch . main road in drives right down into launch, something like wabaman drive in,just not as nice.

If you go there let us know how you did!
