Default slave lake

was at slave yesterday from 10:30 to 5:30. walleye were slow at canyon creek. lots of burbs and lots of uninterested whites. we fished a break from
20' down to 35'. had the cam and only saw 3 eyes all day. kept one eye, how long should they be able to live out of water? put this one on ice at 3:00 and got home at 8:30, seemed to be still alive! not just normal nerves, but gill plates moving and flopping around! strange? or have you seen this before?

Smile

Fished at Assineau yesterday caught eleven walleye and two burbs during the afternoon it slowed down a little.I find the walleye hit on the Candle Lake minnows far better than the walleye master shiners and a little scent sprayed on the lure.(hook)
