Thumbs up Carsland popped my cherry

Well today was it, after many years away from fishing, on my second time out, success. Day started out around 6 pm when we arrived at carsland. Started above the weir, and after about an hour, i decided enough was enough. I told my mom + her boyfriend we were going down below, and they soon followed! Without a word of a lie, I threw my line out, started pulling it in, and BANG! When I brought her in, a little 12" rainbow was there. a beauty for my first. After I pulled the hook, mom threw a line in and BANG! around the same size, another rainbow! Didn't land any after that, but hooked 3 more. 1 of them looked to be of decent size, kept it on for about 20 seconds, than lost it when it jumped! Had to share my first fish story! Carland popped my cherry, and got my first taste of the bow!
